The Dead Sea, Masada

And Ein Gedi

ONE DAY TOUR

The lowest point on earth, 430 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea (or Sea of Salt if we translate its Hebrew name) is a unique experience. The extremely salty water that makes it impossible for any animals or vegetation to live in it will give you the wonderful experience of floating naturally. You can also enjoy the famous therapeutic and rejuvenating gifts of the Dead Sea mud.

Being one of the oldest cities in the world and a holy centre for the three monotheistic religions, Jerusalem is a must in your visit to Israel. One day is hardly enough to explore its rich history of 5,000 years, combining the magnificent and highly interesting sites of the old city with the beautiful and rich sites of the new city. We always start with some stunning panoramic views around the city and an introductory overview, just to get a first memorable impression, as the scenery of Jerusalem is not inferior to its history and points of interest. Then we go on to explore its most important sites, the most ancient as well as the most modern ones.

Masada stands majestically high above the Dead Sea plateau and is one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Israel and also worldwide. Masada is a fortress built mostly by King Herod and is famous especially for its history. The last rebels against Rome In the days of the Great Revolt entrenched themselves in the fortress. Their desperate fight became a symbol of a struggle for freedom. Thanks to the historic events that took place in Masada, and the extraordinary archaeological finds that have been found there, Masada was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001
